always has been a good product and i like it. Only issue is the cable retention saddle - for 12 cables it is not deep enough. it needs a design change.
Prefer this type of Plug to the plastic type, have found they(plastic ) can melt and distort when a high current ( fridge ) is on, and Pins can dislodge ( pull out).
One of the terminal screws on the 7 pin side stripped and I had to use the reverse screw as that wasnt needed. Better quality materials need to be used.
I was never happy with the plastic plug that was on the caravan. As where all the wires entered the connector, the plastic shroud would always come of the connector. So I spotted this type at a caravan park, and thought this is what I have been looking for. It was easy to fit and is a lot more secure than the plastic one, well worth the money.
